On April 20, local time, the United States announced the latest round of sanctions against Russia. The targets include a major commercial bank and more than 40 individuals and entities led by Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeev.
The new sanctions also target A Russian virtual currency developer, marking the first time a virtual currency company has been on the sanctions list, the Treasury said in a press release.
In addition, the State Department imposed visa restrictions on 635 Russian citizens, including three Russian officials.
